Invite external playtesters

Choose a fixed version, ask one question, and collect evidence.

Before you begin

Use a project you can publish. Play it yourself and confirm the version you want others to test. The invitation points to that version; later edits do not update it.

  1. Open the project and select the intended version.
  2. Open publishing and resolve the release checks. Select a playtest invitation, write one test question, and set a sample target.
  3. Copy the link and share it with your testers. Treat the link as access: people holding it can open the shared version.
  4. Ask testers to start a session, perform the core action, and submit feedback. Check the external audience and version in the workbench.

Expected result: external sessions and feedback are associated with the invited version. Sessions are not unique people. Internal tests do not satisfy an external sample target.
