Game Spec reference

What is inside the structured specification the Agent produces.

Top-level shape

A Game Spec has five sections: meta (name, genre, platform, orientation), coreLoop (player action, feedback, progression, session length), gameplay (win/lose conditions, difficulty curve), levels, and economy (resources and upgrades), plus ui layout notes.

It is validated on every generation and every edit — the Agent cannot save a spec that fails validation.

Derived documents

Every saved version renders GAME_SPEC.md, ASSET_LIST.md, UI_FLOW.md, DEVELOPMENT_PLAN.md, and a P0 implementation prompt from the same spec, so they never drift out of sync with each other.

Edits as patches

Follow-up requests are applied as JSON Patch operations against the current spec, not a full rewrite — the workspace shows exactly which paths changed for each version.
